10-year notes extend price losses, fall a point

Published Updated

NEW YORK: Benchmark US Treasuries prices fell a point on Tuesday, after minutes of the Federal Reserve's March policy meeting showed that policymakers appear less keen to launch a fresh round of monetary stimulus as the US economy improves.

The 10-year notes' yields increased to 2.31 percent, up from 2.18 percent before the minutes were released.
