HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares opened 0.41 percent higher on Monday, tracking a rise on Wall Street after a eurozone deal to boost the 17-nation bloc's firewall against future financial crises.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 84.31 points to 20,639.89 in the first few minutes of trade.
