Pakistan cricket head coach Mickey Arthur seems quite impressed with the budding Pakistani talents, after the head coach attended the U19 High Performance Skill and Training Programme currently underway at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Lahore.

“I think the quality of the cricketers, facility and coaches have been brilliant. I have followed them when we were at the World Cup and obviously they had a great series in South Africa, with some really good players making their mark,” said Arthur, while.

Arthur named rising speedster Naseem Shah, batsman Haider Ali among the Under-19 cricketers he look forward for the future. Just days ago, the Pakistan U19 record a clean sweep over South Africa U19, beating the hosts 7-0.

“I have certainly seen some guys here with immense talent, there have been some players that have looked really good. I mean you can talk about Naseem Shah, Haider Ali, Amir the left arm spinner. Those are all the skill set that we are looking to create in our setup and these guys are very good young cricketers.”

“The other thing that has impressed me is the fitness level of all these guys, and that’s something that we have tried to change in Pakistan cricket. All these guys look fit and strong and that is good for the future,” he added.
