He said that it was need of the hour to work collectively steering the country out of challenges in a befitting manner.
The Prime Minister was talking to the members of Parliament, including Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Minister for SAFRON Engr Shaukatullah Khan, Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, Minister for Textile Makhdoom Shahabuddin, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi and MNAs Ms. Mehreen Anwar Raja, Ms. Robina Saadat Qaimkhani, Ms. Ghulam Bibi Bharwana, Dr. Mahreen Razaque Bhutto, Ms. Mehrunnisa Afridi, Ms. Raheela Baloch and Senator Saifullah Bangash, who called on him here at his Parliament House Chamber.
The parliamentarians appreciated the Prime Minister's remarks in the parliamentary leaders meeting on Thursday regarding evolving consensus upon the recommendations in the Joint Sitting of the Parliament on framing new terms of engagements with NATO/ISAF and the US.
They said that once again a positive message has been conveyed by the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister that on a question of national interest all are united irrespective of their party affiliations.
The Prime Minister asked the parliamentarians to keep close liaison with the people of their respective constituencies aiming to solve their basic problems quickly.
