NEW YORK: Cocoa futures on ICE extended losses in late-day trade on Thursday, falling 4.4 percent to below $2,200 per tonne in heavy dealings as investors sold, dealers said.
The benchmark May contract sank $101 to $2,194 per tonne by 1:10 p.m. EDT (1810 GMT).
