Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Margins slip as Barry fears blow over

Refineries in the US Gulf that had shut in the United States because of the storm were preparing to restart.

Spain's Petronor has completed a planned maintenance shutdown at its 220,000 barrel per day Bilbao oil refinery, it said on Monday.

The maintenance, beginning May 27, led to the shutdown of its crude unit 1, which has a capacity of around 130,000 bpd.

Marathon Petroleum Corp is attempting to restart the main gasoline-producing unit at its 585,000 barrel per day (bpd) Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas City, Texas, without a damaged transformer, said sources familiar with plant operations on Monday.

South Korea's S-Oil Corp 010950.KS will shut its 73,000 barrels-per-day (bpd) residue fluid catalytic cracker (RFCC) for maintenance from September to October, two sources familiar with the matter said on Monday

Water levels along the Rhine river, a key waterway for transporting commodities and other products from coastal areas to inland locations in France, Germany and Switzerland, fell to 193 cm at the Kaub point, their lowest since May 21.

Total naphtha flows into Asia for July have been assessed at 4.9-5 mln tonnes, edging down from June's revised volumes of 5.1-5.2 mln tonnes amid month-on-month contractions in Middle Eastern and intra-Asian volumes, assessments by Refinitiv Oil Research showed.
