BOUAKE: At least 40 people were killed Tuesday in northernIvory Coast when two buses collided head on, police and medics said.
The crash occurred in the main northern city ofBouakewhen a Burkina Faso-bound bus burst a tyre and veered off course, crashing into another bus fromMali, security official Claude Sery Claude said.
The injured, most of them Burkinabe andMalinationals, have been taken to the main hospital inBouake.
