During a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of Second Nuclear Security Summit here, the Prime Minister discussed the scope for Turkish investment to construct the motorway project.
The Turkish Prime Minister asked Prime Minister Gilani about the availability of motorways in Pakistan, who apprised him that Pakistan had just 500 km long motorway while many cities were still not linked with such fast mode of communication.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan assured Prime Minister Gilani that the Turkish investors would come to Pakistan for investment in the the construction of motorway to link the major cities.
Gilani said by linking Multan, Hyderabad, Nishtar Ghat, Ratto Dero and Gawadar would provide a link to all the provinces and it would be a great and unique symbol of Pak-Turkish friendship.
