CHICAGO: Front-month May corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade advanced on Monday, testing resistance above the contract's 20-day moving average as CBOT soybeans rose on worries about South America's soy harvest, traders said.
As of 10:03 a.m. CDT (1503 GMT), May corn was up 7-1/4 cents at $6.53-3/4 per bushel after reaching $6.54-1/2, above the 20-day average at $6.53-3/4.
