Ukraine's grain exports rise 26pc in 2018/19

KIEV: Ukraine's grain exports rose to 49.74 million tonnes in the 2018/19 July-June season from 39.4 million tonnes in 2017/18, the agriculture ministry said on Monday.

The volume included 15.58 million tonnes of wheat, 3.60 million tonnes of barley, 29.82 million tonnes of corn and around 1 million tonnes of other grains and cereals, the ministry said in a statement.
