SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were up slightly in morning trade Monday, but gains were capped due to lack of fresh leads amid the slowing domestic economy, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, added 0.26 percent, or 6.02 points, to 2,355.55.
