The wheat was purchased in two consignments each of around 60,000 tonnes.
One consignment was bought at around $214.95 a tonne c&f from trading house Glencore for shipment between Aug.15 and Sept. 15, they said.
The second was bought at $215.95 tonne c&f from Olam for shipment between Sept. 15 and Oct. 15.
