A statement issued by the company said that the company announced its earning per share (EPS) of Rs. 9.65 in 2011, registering a significant increase of 73.36 per cent from Rs. 2.57 recorded last year.
"In addition to this, the company also declared a cash dividend of Rs. 2 per share or 20 per cent for the year ended on December 31, 2011", it added.
Stock Analyst, Zaheer Ahmed told APP that the earnings witnessed an increase from 24 per cent increase in company's earning on the back of an increase in per unit prices and 17 per cent increase in volumetric sales.
He said that besides higher volumetric sales, other income also increased by 8 per cent to Rs. 620 million as compared to Rs.575 million last year.
