Talking to assembly members and representatives of provincial dpartments here on Sunday, he said, doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and elected representatives played commendable role during the last year's dengue virus and thousands of precious lives were saved due to their untiring efforts. He said all possible steps are being taken for tackling the possible outbreak of the virus in the next season. He said, not only the persons associated with departments concerned were imparted training abroad but also these master trainers are providing training to other persons for dealing with dengue. He said a special chapter has been included in the educational syllabus for creating awareness among the people particularly new generation and students' community about the dengue virus. The chief minister urged the elected representatives to have close liaison with the people and inform them about precautionary measures taken by the government to combat with the possible dengue attack.
