During the visit from March 18-22, the Chairman will meet President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa, Secretary Defence and the senior military hierarchy of Sri Lankan Tri-Services.

The visit of Chairman will further strengthen the already existing bonds of friendship and brotherhood between two countries. Senior military officers of Joint Staff Headquarters were present at Airport to see off the Chairman.

On March 21, General Wynne will be the Chief Guest on the launching of Pakistan NDU Alumni Chapter in Sri Lanka, a platform for Sri Lankan Officers of all three segments of the Armed Forces who attended training course at Pakistan's National Defence University Islamabad.
