However, the good news was marred with tragedy as Asif Ali’s daughter died just days ago while battling Stage IV Cancer. Meanwhile, Pakistan would play their second World Cup warm-up match against Bangladesh on Sunday 26th May. The national team would formally begin their World Cup campaign with the first match against the West Indies on May 31.
