Korean Ambassador meets CM

Matters of mutual interest and cooperation in different sectors were also discussed on the occasion. Talking to the Ambassador, the Chief Minister said the government is following the policy of acquiring international cooperation for promoting economic activities and bringing innovations in public welfare projects.

He said rapid economic programme made by South Korea was enviable and the living standard of the people of Punjab could also be raised by benefiting from the economic experiences of South Korea.

He said the government was providing a favourable environment to international companies and investors and all necessary facilities for investment are being provided under one-roof from the platform of Punjab Investment Board.

He said foundation of a modern transport system has been laid in the province with the cooperation of Turkey while maximum facilities are also being offered to the companies of other countries for investment.

The CM said Pakistan and South Korea have friendly relations and there was need to transform them into trade and economic cooperation.

South Korean Ambassador Choongjoo Choi said that South Korea has made economic progress by following the 5-year economic plan of Pakistan.
