Japanese instructor inaugurates exhibition of photos about Japan

The Photo Exhibition was jointly organised by Pakistan Association of Photo Journalists, Pakistan Japan Cultural Association and Sukkur Blood and Drugs Donating Society at Public School Sukkur.

Speaking on the occasion, Yasuo Sakuma said that "I am very happy to be here and said that this was his second visit to Sukkur and first visit conducted by him during his student life. He was highly impressed to witness the pictures displayed in the Exhibition and appreciated theefforts of the organisers.

President Pakistan Association of Photo Journalists, Mujeeb- ur-Rahman, President Press Club Sukkur Lala Asad Pathan, Principal Public School Sukkur, Nisarullah Boloch President Photo Journalist Association Sukkur Kazafi Shah also spoke on the occasion and lauded the efforts of Jahangir Khan, photographer APP.

The speakers said that Jahangir Khan was the first photo journalist of South Asia who got training in Japan in latest digital photo journalism and photo journalistic techniques.

Daughter of Yasuo Sakuma Miss Haruka Sakuma read the Message of Consul General of Japan on the occasion.

It may be mentioned that about 200 photographs of Japan's Culture, tradition and manner of life of the people, its historical buildings development in various fields were displayed in the Exhibition.

The cultural gifts of Sindhi cap and Ajrak and shields were also given to the guests.

The media delegation also visited various historical places of Sukkur during visit of the city.

Earlier, President Sukkur Blood and Drugs Donating Society Dr Naeem thanks the

Participants and explained the aims and objects of the Exhibition.
