Shoaib Malik rejoins Men in Green in England

Pakistan veteran middle order batsman Shoaib Malik has joined his side in England, as his side aim to take on the hosts in the second One Day International (ODI) to be played in Southampton on Saturday.

As per media reports, Malik will be available for selection for the second ODI against hosts, England. However, he would need to undergo a fitness test before the match.

Malik returned home after receiving 10-day leave from team management due to personal issues. "The Pakistan cricket team management has given leave to Shoaib Malik so that he can return home to deal with a domestic issue. He is expected to rejoin the team in 10 days’ time," stated the PCB earlier.

He missed a T20 match and also missed the first ODI held on May 8, which ended in no result after it got abandoned due to rain.
