ABUJA: Nigeria's Nembe Creek oil trunk line has shut down due to leaks, the line's operator said on Monday.

"Two leak points were reported along the line," operator Aiteo Group said, less than a day after the pipeline had restarted after damage caused by oil thieves. The company did not say when operations could resume.

The Nembe Creek line is one of the two major pipelines exporting Bonny light crude oil, which is currently under force majeure from the last pipeline outage.
