MOSCOW: Foreign investors increased their share of Russian OFZ government bond holdings to 26.7 percent as of April 1, the highest level since early August, from 25.9 percent a month earlier, central bank data showed on Wednesday.

The proportion of OFZs held by foreign investors has been recovering recently after a steep drop in 2018 as concerns intensified that Washington could slap sanctions on holdings of Russian state debt, something that has not happened so far.
