Ahmad Sobhani Deputy Foreign Minister for Western Asia Affairs said this in meeting of Iranian and Indian businessmen here Saturday, IRNA news agency reported.

He said currently billions of trade exchanges between both counties are carried out through a third country, stressing these third elements will be crossed out from the equation by adopting Rupee.

He said Iran could play role of a hub in Tehran, Delhi exchanges since India enjoys a good strategic position in North-South corridor. He hoped existing banking problems would be solved between two countries.
