Kenyan shilling weakens against the dollar

At 0845 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 101.00/20 per dollar, compared with 100.95/101.15 at Monday's close.

The weighted average daily interbank lending rate stood at 2.9231 per cent on Monday, compared with 3.5560 percent during the previous session, according to Refinitiv data.
