Pakistan cricket team got a bad news just ahead of the World Cup after bowling all rounder Imad Wasim injured his right knee during a practice session, it was learnt on Tuesday. According to local media reports, Wasim twisted his knee and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. The youngster has been among the leading performers for his side and was especially impressive in the recently concluded series against Australia where he scored 141 runs and also picked up three wickets. Earlier, this month the Pakistani all rounder made rapid gains at Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has made huge gains at ICC Player Rankings. The left-hander, who captained his side against Australia in the last two matches gained 16 places to reach 68th among batsmen, climbed seven places to reach 37th in the list of bowlers and moved from 16th to joint-sixth among all-rounders. Imad will have to give fitness test conducted by the PCB in coming weeks, before the big event of World Cup 2019.
