Vietnam sells $150mn government bonds, yields dip

The treasury sold 960 billion dong of two-year bonds at a yield of 11.0 percent, 1 trillion dong of three-year debt at 10.94 percent, and also raised 1.16 trillion dong via five-year debt at 11.10 percent, the exchange said in a statement.

The treasury had offered to sell bonds worth 4 trillion dong via government debt at the auction. No 10-year bonds were sold.

In the last auction on March 1, the State Treasury raised 6.89 trillion dong via government bonds at yields of between 10.7 percent for its 10-year bonds and 11.2 percent for two-year debt.
