The Lahore High Court has ordered the removal of cricketer Nasir Jamshed name from the Exit Control List (ECL), it was learnt on Tuesday.

According to local media reports, the Deputy Attorney General informed the court that the name of Jamshed was put on the recommendation of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

On the other hand, Nasir Jamshed’s lawyer stated that his client’s name had been unlawfully included in the ECL.

Nasir Jamshed was banned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) from cricket for 10 years in 2018, after he was found involved in a spot fixing scandal during the second edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
