Sarfraz admits Amir's struggling form a worry sign for Pakistan

Pakistan cricket captain Sarfraz Ahmed admitted that Mohammad Amir struggling form is disturbing for his side, as the Men in Green prepare for the upcoming World Cup 2019.

“It is true that Amir is not able to take wickets, but as a captain I believe that he has been bowling well but unfortunately has is not getting the results, and his wicket taking ratio is something very disturbing, as he is our strike bowler,” said Sarfraz, while talking to local media.

“However, Amir is a player that has the ability to make a good comeback, obviously we would talk to him and try to identify the flaws,” he added.

Mohammad Amir lack of form has been a sign of worry and much debate among Pakistani cricket fans, however, the fast bowler has his admirers including former captain and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram, who called him ‘one of the best bowlers’ Pakistan have at its disposal ahead of the World Cup 2019.

“Amir is still one of the best bowlers we have, he can swing the ball he is just not getting wickets, this is my take as an ex cricketer and ex captain,” said Akram in a recent event.
