"The future of people associated with medical profession is brought. We all need to support his government endeavours for speedy uplift of this noble profession with a prime focus to provide relief to people suffering different ailment," he added.
He was addressing the certificates and gold medals distribution ceremony among position holders students of Khyber Medical University (KMU) here.
The Chief Minister said great responsibilities lied on shoulders of doctors, para-medical staff and others professionals associated with medical profession to work day and night to address problems of patients.
The Chief Minister said great attention of doctors is required to heal the wounds of terrorism victims. He said when ANP took over it had faced a number of challenges like terrorism and militancy and law and order situation in Malakand Division was very disturbing.
However, he said the evil forces did not reciprocate to the good well gesture of the ANP and resorted to attack on security forces and took law into their hands.
Hoti said the government was left with not other option but to use force as last resort to restore its writ in Swat and Malaknd Division. He said peace had been restored to Swat after tremendous sacrifices rendered by security forces, people, politicians, doctors and civil society.
The Chief Minister directed the administration of KMU to give special focus on provision of quality education and research work to students to prepare them for tough future challenges in the competitive medical profession.
He said government was well aware of requirements of KMU and its necessities would be incorporated in the annual development programme in upcoming budget. Mr Hoti said his government would continue provide assistance to the medical university on sound footing.
Vice Chancellor KMU, Hafizullah Khan appraised the Chief Minister and others officials about achievements and requirements of the University.
Khyber Pakthunkhwa Law Minister, Barrister Arshad Abdullah and Senator Haji Adeel were also present on the occasion.
