The ECP conducted hearing on an objection raised by PML-N after vote count for general seats. The Commission took up the matter and recounted votes in presence of contesting parties and decided that Senators-elect will continue to retain their positions as per already announced results of the election. The Senators-elect from Balochistan on general seats include ANP's Advocate Muhammad Daud Khan Achekzai, PPPP's Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hassani, Nawabzada Saifullah Magsi and Muhammad Yousaf Baloch, PML-Q's Saeedul Hassan Mandokhail, JUI-F's Hafiz Hamdullah and BNP-A'a Mir Israrullah Khan Zehri stood as winners. As many as 19 candidates had contested election against on seven general seats of the Senate from Balochistan. For two seats reserved for women there were eight candidates and BNP-A's Naseema Ehsan and PML-Q's Mrs Robina Irfan were declared winner. On seats reserved for ulema and technocrats winner were Mufti Abdul Sattar of JUI-F and Rozi Khan Kakar of PPPP. Seat for minorities was also won by Heman Dass of JUI-F.
