Govt releases Rs.130bn to IPPs: Qamar

Talking to media here on the premises of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, he said that increase in fuel charges had also raised fuel surcharge in the electricity bills.

He said that 100 per cent payment of electricity bills will ensure power production and minimize power load-shedding.

To a question, he said that political parties should get representation in Senate on basis of their strength in the assemblies.

He said that strategy for arresting the menace of horse-trading had been prepared.
