Mohammad Amir, who was representing Karachi Kings in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), returned from Abu Dhabi after his mother was shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital and Medical Center after her condition deteriorated on Monday, a private news channel reported.
Her body was shifted to Mohammad Amir’s residence in Lahore from where it will be taken to Gujar Khan for burial.
Fellow cricketers and fans have expressed grief on the demise of Amir’s mother.
They prayed the Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to his family to bear the loss.
