'Pakistan offers lucrative market for foreign investors'

The Prime Minister appreciated the contributions of Standard Chartered Bank in the country's economic development. The Chief Executive of the Standard Chartered Bank V Shankar apprised the Prime Minister that he would arrange his meetings with the top British CEOs during his visit to the United Kingdom in May. He appreciated the decision of the government to normalize trade relations with India as it would open new corridors of cooperation between the two countries. Gilani asked the Chief Executive to hold meetings with the Chambers of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and the Chairman, Board of Investment to find out how best investment can be increased in Pakistan in fields of energy, infrastructure, agriculture.
