'Pakistan didn't even use F-16': DG ISPR denies India's claim of shooting down jet

Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relation(ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan had been left with no option but to reply to Indian aggression.

Denying India's claim of shooting down Pakistan's F-16 aircraft, the DG ISPR said that Pakistan has not even used any such aircraft until now in the entire operation. He said Pakistan had decided that it will not take any military target and made sure that there were no collateral damage.

He said the Pakistan armed forces had no option but to reply to India's aggression.“Pakistan’s armed forces have the capability, capacity, will and the nation’s support – but do not want to be irresponsible."

He said that today's action was in self defence. He said,"We don't want to claim any victory. There are no victors in war. "

He said Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had deliberately targeted an open area and avoided escalation. He said that Pakistan wanted to show that it could easily have taken the original target that was their military post, administrative set-up. But Pakistan had not done that.

The DG ISPR said that one of Indian's jet fell  inside Azad Jammu and Kashmir while other fell inside Indian occupied Kashmir. He said that our ground forces have arrested two pilots; one of them was injured and has been shifted to Combined Military Hospital.
