LSE gains 30.13 points

LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday gained 30.13 point with the LSE-25 Index opened with 3385.20 and closed a

The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 5.264 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.525 million shares, showing a downward slide of 260,954 shares. While, out of the total 106 active scrips 25 moved up, 57 remained equal and 24 shed values.

Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, and Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited (OGDCL) were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.41, Rs. 3.83 and Rs 3.65 respectively.

MCB Bank Limited, Javed Omer Vohra and Company, and Faysal Bank Limited lost their per share value by Rs 4.85, Re 1.00 and Re 0.93, respectively.

The Volume Leader of the day included Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 811,405 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 750,300 shares and National Bank of Pakistan with 498,441 shares.
