Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI : Oil tanker 'Qubaa' carrying 62,618 tonnes furnace oil was berthed at FOTCO Oil Terminal on Sunday, February 26

Meanwhile three more ships with containers, chemicals and diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was maintained at the Port at 23 percent on Sunday where a total of three ships namely M.V Lion, M.V Arrilah-I and M.T Qubaa are currently occupying berths to load/offload rice, urea and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 44,296 tonnes imports exclusively, comprises 40,037 tonnes liquid cargo and 4,259 tonnes dry cargo was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

Departure remained nil during last 24 hours.

Two ships C.V Elisabeth and M.T Anette Koasan carrying containers and chemicals are expected to take berth at QICT and EVTL respectively on Monday, February 27, while two more ships C.V Maersk Kinston and C.V Hanjin Malta are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Tuesday, February 28.
