PTI organizes seminar on 'Energy: From Crisis to Solutions'

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) has organized a seminar titled `Energy: From Crisis to Solutions' here on Sund

The key speaker chairman PTI Imran Khan addressing on the occasion, said that energy crisis would need long term strategy as it is very important for smooth development of the country.

He said that for resolving energy crisis there is a need to introduce autonomous bodies in this regard.

Imran Khan said that it is very important to resolve energy crisis as it is affecting the whole industry as well as people.

He opined that small cabinet can deliver more effectively.

He said that nation is among three countries which give big charity.

He said that 40 percent of funds of Shaukat Khanam Memorial Hospital are sent by Overseas Pakistanis, adding that Overseas Pakistanis are the asset of the nation.

He lauded the contribution of overseas Pakistanis for outstanding remittances contributing greatly in the country's economy.

He said that Pakistani nation is very generous and cooperative.

Experts on energy, former minister Jehangir Khan Tareen also spoke on the occasion.

The seminar was part of an effort from PTI to suggest solution of the ongoing energy crisis.
