Men in Green remain on top despite T20I series defeat

Pakistan has remained the top ranked T20I side despite a 2-1 series defeat against South Africa, with a consolation win in the last T20I at Centurion, SuperSport Park on Wednesday.

In the latest ICC Rankings for Men's T20I Team, Pakistan remains firmly on the top with a rating of 135, whereas, arch rivals India are placed second with rating of 125.

Meanwhile, top order batsman Babar Azam remained the number one T20I batsman, followed by New Zealand’s Colin Munro and Australia’s Aaron Finch. Fellow teammate Fakhar Zaman is ranked fifth on the ranking table.

Whereas, in T20I bowling ranking leg spinner Shadab Khan is placed second on the points table, whereas, all rounder Faheem Ashraf and Imad Wasim are the other two Pakistani bowlers in the top ten.

With the lengthy tour of South Africa finally coming to an end, the Pakistani cricket stars would be next seen in action in the upcoming fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) scheduled to begin next week at UAE.
