Considered among the emerging bowling talents after a phenomenal display during the Champions Trophy, Man of the tournament Hasan Ali doesn’t seem to be having a dry patch lately.

However, former Pakistan captain and wicketkeeper Rashid Latif believes that Hasan being ‘among the most energetic players’ in Pakistan cricket team will bounce back in the future.

“It seems that Hasan Ali believes that he has achieved everything in his career. This is a big problem that arises in many players as they are unable to handle the stardom, but he will bounce back and perform better,” said Latif, at Caught Behind.

In the last 10 ODIs Hasan has only managed to claim nine wickets, similar is the case in T20Is where he has also managed to pick nine scalps in last 10 appearances.

Talking about Usman Khan Shinwari, who did not enjoyed a very good outing in the second T20I against South Africa and went for 63 runs in his spell of four overs, Latif said that the speedster needs to introduce variety in his bowling especially emphasizing on the use of yorkers

“Shinwari bowls excellent in the first few overs of his spell. However, he puts excessive effort on himself during pressure situation, which leads to bowling no balls. Shinwari being a very good bowler needs to try on bowling slower deliveries and Yorkers,” said Latif.
