Tanker with disputed Sudanese crude docks in Japan

TOKYO: A tanker carrying 600,000 barrels of disputed Sudanese crude oil arrived in Japan's Kiire port after more than a

The Ratna Shradha, which is owned by India Steamship, had been anchored off southwest Japan since Feb. 14 because of uncertainty over ownership of the cargo.

"The cargo was scheduled to arrive at 9 a.m. today, and it should have arrived by now," said a Coast Guard official at Kiire port.

An industry source confirmed it had docked at the port.
