Chris and his attorney have denied the allegations. They said they plan to file a defamation lawsuit against his accuser. However, the Paris police have stated that they will continue to investigate the case filed by a 24-year-old woman alleging that the said assault took place on January 15 and 16 this year.

In her statement to the police, the victim said that on January 15 and 16, she and her friends met Chris at the club Le Crystal. They then went to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel near the Concorde Plaza in central Paris, where the grave incident took place.

Chris’ musical career has been marked with as much controversy as success. His fame grew when he and Rihanna began dating in 2008. With their matching places on the charts, but their romance took a dark turn just hours before the 2009 Grammy Awards, when Brown physically assaulted Rihanna.
