South African fast bowler Duanne Olivier is reaping reward for his outstanding performance with the ball against Pakistan in the recently concluded Test series, after he was called up for One Day International (ODI) debut against Pakistan.

Olivier will be part of the squad for the first two ODIs. He will be replacing Dale Steyn who has been rested alongside wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock, as opening batsman Aiden Makram makes his way into the limited overs squad.

The 26-year-old picked up 23 wickets from three Tests including three five-wicket hauls and one 10-wicket match haul, but he is yet to make his white-ball debut for the Proteas.

The first ODI will be played in Port Elizabeth on January 19 followed by the second match in Durban on January 22.
