Ranbir Kapoor to lock horns with Salman Khan later this year

Salman Khan-Ranbir Kapoor's rivalry is no more a secret, which started with their ex-beau Katrina Kaif and since then they don't see each other eye to eye. Not only do they always avoid bumping into each other but also refrain from talking about each other.

The two actors are now all set to clash, although not really a physical clash. According to latest reports, Ranbir will clash with Salman on box office later this year.

Reportedly, Salman is eyeing on the Christmas period to release ‘Dabangg 3’ as the script of the film has been locked and he is willing to roll its first schedule in April 2019. On the other hand, makers have already locked December 20 as the release date of Ranbir-Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’.

Some media reports also suggest that Salman had earlier locked December 20, 2019 to release ‘Kick 2’, however, things didn't churn out well for the project so Salman might use this slot to release Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Dabangg 3’.

Last year, Salman and Ranbir's films released in the same month. While Salman's ‘Race 3’ hit theatres on June 15, Ranbir's ‘Sanju’ released on June 29. Even though the films were two weeks apart, their box-office performances were quite contrasting. ‘Race 3’ failed to make a mark at the box office, ‘Sanju’ went on to become Ranbir's biggest film so far in terms of numbers.
