"Parts of Europe, Brazil, the US and Canada were closed for different reasons and that kept a lid on activity here on the cash market," one broker said. South American soymeal was offered between $2 a tonne up and $2 down from Friday. Bids were scarce and no deals were reported. Most other products were quoted unchanged to a few euros up following stronger rapeseed futures on the back of higher mineral oil prices. March delivery EU rapeoil traded at 193 euros per tonne fob lower Rhine and May/midJuly fetched 180 a tonne, both four euros up from Friday. Copyright Reuters, 2012
