LPG prices down by Rs 5/kg
ISLAMABAD: Liquefied Petroleum Gas prices have been reduced by Rs five per kg i.e. Rs65 per domestic cylinder and Rs250 per commercial cylinder, effective from Friday.
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) is responsible to fix LPG prices, but the authority has not yet issued any notification in this regard.
After the current decrease in the prices, LPG would be sold at Rs 175 per kg against Rs 180 per kg in the hilly areas like Gilgit Baltistan, Fata, Murree, Muzafarabad, and Balakot. While in plain areas including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rahimyar Khan, Multan, Attock Dera Ismail Khan and Peshawar, the commodity would be sold at Rs 155 against the previous Rs 160 per kg. In cities, Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Attock, it would be sold at Rs 155 against Rs 160 per kg, while in Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, Sukhar, Rahimyar Khan and Sadiqabad, it would be sold at Rs 145 against Rs 150 per kg.
