Pakistan concerned as injury might force Abbas to miss last Test against Kiwis

Pakistan team, which is hoping to win the Test series against New Zealand, has suffered a major blow after fast bowler Mohammad Abbas injured his shoulder.

The fast bowler might not recover in time for the final, deciding Test match against New Zealand starting next week. Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is expected to replace injured Abbas for the third and final encounter.

Pakistan premier fast bowler at the moment Abbas, injured his right shoulder while fielding in the second Test against New Zealand that Pakistan went on win by an innings and 16 runs on the back of Yasir Shah’s record 14-wicket haul.

Abbas, ranked among the best Test bowler in the world, ranking third in the latest MRF Tyres ICC Test Player Rankings, didn’t do much for Pakistan in the second Test in Dubai, bowling 24 wicketless overs. However, he did claimed two wickets in the first Test.

The third and series-deciding final Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand will start on December 3, in Abu Dhabi UAE.
