Exxon Beaumont Texas refinery plans to restart FCCU by late next week

HOUSTON: Exxon Mobil Corp plans to restart the gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit (FCCU) at its 365,644 barrel-per-day (bpd) Beaumont, Texas, refinery by late next week, sources familiar with plant operations said on Friday.

The 120,000 bpd FCCU was shut on Oct 4 for a planned overhaul expected to last six weeks, the sources said.
