LONDON: Risk reversals on sterling, a gauge of calls to puts on the British currency, plunged to their lowest levels since September 2016 on Friday, indicating investors are adding bets to position for further weakness in the pound.

One-month risk reversals fell sharply, a day after the pound plunged 1.6 percent.
