PML-N can steer country out of current challenges: Nawaz

Addressing the party leaders hailing from Gilgit- Baltistan, FATA, Bahawalpur and DG Khan here at Model Town, he said the PML-N had capable team of experts which could steer the country out of crises and put the country on road of progress.

"Our party can make prosperous Pakistan by purging the country of corruption and injustices", he added.

Pakistan could be made 'Asian Tiger'by following the constitution and democracy, he said and added, begging aid impacted honour and prestige of the nations.

The nation through long march restored judiciary and now the independent judiciary was working to get rid of corruption, he added.

Highlighting his party's achievement during the last tenure, Nawaz Sharif said that PML-N conducted nuclear tests irrespective of international pressure and made the defence of the country invincible. The whole Islamic world was happy over this decision, he added.

"We pave the way for the resolution of Kashmir and establishing durable peace in the region, he added.

Meanwhile, talking to media at Model Town, PML-N leader Siddiq-ul-Farooq said that it was essential for the PML-N to separate the PPP from Punjab government and final decision in this regard would be taken after the central executive committee meeting.

He said that a series of PML-N meeting were held for reorganization of party and discuss progress on implementation of 10-point agenda.

"If PML-N can sit in opposition benches in centre, why PPP cannot sit on opposition benches in Punjab,"he said. He added. He said if PPP separates from PML-N in Punjab, the stigma of friendly-opposition on PML-N could be removed.

Regarding unification bloc, Siddiq ul Farooq said that 'unification bloc' was in accordance with law and the constitution and objecting by some parties on it is unjustified. The PML-N neither hired the members of unification bloc nor given them ministries, he added.
