COAS visits Bahawalpur to witness training exercises

The exercises included training for conventional operations in the desert terrain, involving mechanized forces and Pakistan Air Force (PAF), said an ISPR press release issued here. Training for conduct of operations against militancy was also part of these exercises. The COAS appreciated the high standard of training displayed by participating troops. He underscored the significance of operational preparedness against the entire threat spectrum.
