During a recent interview on Anaita Shroff’s talk show, actress Sonam Kapoor spilled the beans about her love life. She revealed that there was no engagement ring involved when her husband Anand Ahuja proposed her.
For Sonam, the proposal was not very fairytale-ish but it was real.
Sonam took to Instagram to share a short promo of the episode in which she opens about Anand's proposal. When Anaita asked her in the clip, “Did he propose?,” Sonam replied, “Without a ring.”
Though there was no ring involved while Anand proposed the marriage to Sonam but it has been reported that her wedding ring cost a whopping Rs 90 lakh. She also designed a custom-made mangalsutra (Indian wedding necklace) with a solitaire in between.
The couple got married in May this year and has been making headlines ever since. Their reception was a grand one where many celebrities were spotted in beautiful outfits.
